On the last issue of Irish Whiskey Magazine I wrote an article titled “Opinions from Turkey” and shared my views on the Irish whiskey market in Turkey
Irish Whiskey Magazine is exactly what the booming Irish whiskey industry needed; a good quality magazine with industry news, new launches, distillery reviews and great articles.
It’s a relatively new magazine but every issue delivered great content so far and they are all worth archiving. I even nominated the magazine as one of the candidates of my Whisky Publication of the Year award in 2018 (couldn’t win, maybe next time!)
One section that I particularly like is the “Opinions from…” section. Irish whiskies are all around the world and it’s great to read consumer trends from different countries. Inspired by this section I shared my opinions from the Turkish market on March 2019 issue. I see a great interest and observe a growth in the Turkish whiskey market, especially in younger people after I introduced “whisky blogger and intagrammer” concept for the first time 6 years ago. Today there are several bloggers and whisky instagrammers following my footsteps and increasing the interest level of the general public. (Meleklerin Payi instagram: @meleklerinpayi )
