For the last 5 years, I’ve been listing my top whiskies of the year & choosing the Meleklerin Payi 2018 Whisky Of The Year
In 2018 calender year, I tasted 132 whiskies for the first time and in total I reached a database of 1200 whisky notes. I rate whiskies over 100 and I tasted most of them during my travels to Scotland, England, Portugal, Denmark, Greece, whisky events in London (Whisky Live 2018 and Whisky Show 2018) and also tasting events in Istanbul. When I listed the whiskies I realized that I gave >90 points to 25 whiskies, so this year I wanted to make a Top 25 instead of Top 10 and Top 20 like the previous years.
